Sunny then soggy Saturday

Not sure what happened to the lovely sunshine from this morning.

I'm catching up on chores inbetween cleaning grazed knees, wiping away tears at lost blingage (ring) and hyperventilating at unannounced visitors and the fact that I look like Stig of the dump and my house still looks like *Paddy's market*.

So, I have been rubbish at updating once again but I really haven't been up to much.  

The girlies are grand and are gearing up for their Taekwon-do grading tomorrow.  They are super excited that their new playhouse should be here soon. 

I have been pootling along and have been making some Easter cards.  I will show you a piccie when I remember to take one.

Rightie oh, I am off to try and sort out my house.

Ooh, I made this card the other day and while it is very beginner I wanted to use it as a marker and hopefully I will get better!!!

It's been a while

I really have got out of the habit of blogging and, although, it is only a vague diary for the girlies I really must get back into the groove.  Am I lone in finding that the longer I leave it the harder it gets?

To be honest I have lost my groove on a few things and am hoping to get back now that the better weather is here.  Don't get me wrong, it's all good but I know that it could be better.

So, what have we been doing?

Well, the girlies had a fabulous trip to an indpendent chocolate factory.  They got to make all sorts of delicious treats while the parents had a gossip and a cup of tea.

We've also been to an Armada day and lived in the year 1588 for the day which was very interesting.  The girlies are loving history at the moment so it was right up their street.

Other than that?  Not a lot really, just hitting the books, mooching around and enjoying life.

Rightie oh, I am off to sort out my living room as once again it looks like a whirling dervish had a party with all their dervish friends.

Ooh, I have lost 10lbs on my kick start diet so that's 17lbs down and about 9 million to go!!!

Back from wonderland

We pootled off to the cinema to watch the wonderful Alice in wonderland this afternoon.  We stocked up on sweetie and popcorn and settled back for a couple of hours of fabulous entertainment.  Being Tim Burton it is deliciously dark and beautifully shot.

The girlies were spellbound and loved every second of it.

*In other news*

Miss Muffin made her Guide promise last week so is now a *proper Girl guide*.  I have to say that they both love it and it's a great way to spend a couple of hours once a week.  They are off to camp together for the first time this year and they can't wait.

We've not been up to much else really.  We've been shopping, chilling, hitting the books and playing with friends.
