Rightie oh, I'm all packed ........ I think!!!
The bank have confirmed that my money has been transferred so we're good to go. Fingers crossed our buyers are sorted and we should be in for dinner.
With any luck I shall be back online by the middle of next week.

Graham keeps telling me that we are pretty much ready to go but I keep thinking I still have masses to do.
In my saner moments I know that we're doing ok but I realised this evening that I need to clean the cooker. So, now I'm in a faff again.
Need to do a dump run tomorrow to get rid of some last bits and then have a final clean through.
With any luck we can relax a bit on Friday while we wait for the call.
Off for another wander around the house to convince myself that we're going to be ready.

Completely forgot it was Shrove Tuesday so no pancakes in our house. How bad is that?
We talked about it on Sunday and it just slipped my mind. My poor little addled brain really can't cope with too much going on.
Just a quickie as I have to get the girlie wirlies in bed and then I need to plonk myself down in front of my guilty pleasure ...... Mistresses!!!

Just finishing the last of my packing which are really just my knickie knackies and pictures. Graham refers to them as my delicates as he knows I'll cry if they get broken.
I've been notifying the world and his wife of our new address and ticking off my to do list left right and centre.
I must make some change of address cards but need to get some ink for my printer.
Graham is busy filling the many holes my picture frames left behind and muttering under his breath.
I'm sure that I've forgotten something but we've got a few more days to go yet.
The girlie wirlies are grand and very excited. It's Lottie Lou Lou's birthday on Saturday so the excitement levels are at fever pitch.

So much of our stuff has gone into storage that there's a bit of an echo in our house. So much fluff though ...... I shall have to do a big ole clean up now that the hidden bits are uncovered.
It's all good though and we're getting rather excited for Friday.

Ooh, Cath, the *young David Suchet* is Graham but I'd liken him more to Victor Meldrew at the moment ...... Hee hee!!!
Despite masses of decluttering last year we had masses of stuff to go into storage today. We filled three vans and a car but still need to do another run tomorrow.
Most of it came from the loft which must be like a tardis as it didn't look that full.
Hey ho, we're almost done and I can have a huge sort out when we get the stuff back. Or, alternatively, I can just bung it all up in the new loft.
I am going to be strong and sort it out as it's not good to hang on to so much stuff.

Ooh, I must just mention my Dad who passed away six years ago today.
Yay, after much toing and froing we finally exchanged contracts. After a day of maybe/maybe not they finally agreed at 4.30 this afternoon.
I'm so happy not to be piggy in the middle anymore. We're moving next Friday instead of Thursday as planned but hey ho.
Back to packing and checking my lists as most of our furniture goes into storage tomorrow.

Millie Muffin's *fangie fang* finally came out this evening. I kid you not this tooth has been hanging on by a thread for months. Regular wiggling just made it hang even lower but we couldn't get it out. It eventually popped out but there was masses of blood.
Poor Miss Muffin really doesn't do blood and was almost hyperventilating at one point. It always amazes me how quickly the body heals as you'd never guess from looking at it tonight.
*In other news*
No exchange today. Our buyers didn't send a big enough deposit which was ok but not ok if you know what I mean. Our sellers then had a problem with the rental property they are going into. Honestly, you couldn't make it up.
We're hoping to agree a completion date tomorrow but our seller is going on holiday the week after next. Monday week is my new target but who knows when it will be.
I've gone from being cross to finding it all rather amusing via wanting to cry or shout at someone.

Alas, no exhange of contracts today. Our divvy buyers didn't transfer their deposit in time so it may be tomorrow or even Friday.
I think that they were under the impression that the banking and legal systems work a tad more speedily than they do.
I'm absolutely fine but frustrated with all the toing and froing. Plus, I hate dishonesty and estate agents contradict themselves left right and centre.

I've moved on from my bored day yesterday and had a nice day chilling with the girlie wirlies. I know I keep going on but I just want to get into our new home and get all these boxes unpacked and settled in.

Do you ever feel bored?
That's me today ...... Bored with packing, bored with waiting, bored with having no money or a car. I could have gone out for a walk but I've hurt my toe.
So bored that I'm boring myself. Oh dear, maybe there is a prize for the most boring person and I'll win it.
Thankfully, the girlie wirlies have been occupied so it's just me being bored.
