Blowing the cobwebs off

Oh dear, my poor little blogerino has been very neglected.  I had planned to update sooner but just got out of the habit and the weeks fly by so quickly.

Anyhoo, we've been to the seaside today and it was glorious.  Nowhere flashy just Pevensey Bay and I do believe it's pretty the same as I remembered from spending Summers there many moons ago.

And no, that isn't some three legged monster but it does sum up Miss Muffin and her *ants in her pants syndrome*.  I just focused the camera and she was away again.

We all managed a paddle but the girlies got soaked and had to come home without their leggings.  Luckily they go for the long top/dress over leggings look so they weren't too conspicious hotfooting it back to the car.

*In other news*

Great excitement with the unpacking of my new tidgy little Dyson.  Never saw the appeal before but my Mother in law got one and I was smitten.  Mind you, I can't use my usual excuse for lack of housewifery upstairs.  This hoover is so light the girlies could carry it up the stairs with one hand.

Graham is off this week so we are hoping to have some lovely family time.

Ooh, note to self ...... When 9 year old daughter tells you to put suncream on listen to her.

A blogging break

Having been forced to step away from the big ole www I found that I quite enjoyed it.

Therefore, I have decided to take a little break until the end of May.  I am also having my annual dither over renewing my Typepad account, going for a freebie site or just packing it in.

My blog isn't very exciting but it does act as a bit of a diary for the girlie wirlies' shenanigans.  So, any thoughts on free blogerinos would be most welcome.

Have to add that I really am tip toperoo but a bit www-ed out.

Technical hitch

I'm here and I'm absolutely dandy.

Just having a few technical issues but, hopefully, I'm all sorted and back in the land of mass communication.

So, it's just gone eight .......

...... And, I need my bed.  How ridiculous is this?

I left the house for the first time this week to pick up my new speccies and I could have fallen asleep in the car.

Luckily I wasn't driving but, hey, there were plenty of drivers that appeared to be asleep or at least their minds were elsewhere.

I will be off to bed as soon as I've found a photo that appears to be hiding on my computer.  A little project for It's a creative world that I need to upload.

Scraped knees

Poor Miss Muffin has tripped over, fallen off her scooter and whacked herself with her bike pedals so many times.

She is covered in bruises and has half the skin missing on each knee.

I have a theory that every family has an accident prone member and she is ours.  No idea where she gets it from!!!

I'm off to bed as I'm still suffering from the lurgies.

Quiet Tuesday

Thankfully, feeling much better than yesterday and managed to catch up on a few chores.

Graham was off so a nice family day.

Feeling rather yucky today and all I seem to have done is sleep.

Hopefully, normal service will resume tomorrow as I have masses to do.

Happy days

Nothing exciting going on just happy family time and you really can't beat it.

Got a few things clear in my head after chatting with Graham.  I just need to make some decisions and stick with them. 

We're hoping the sun shines tomorrow as we're planning a trip to the fair.

Going out to play

The girlies' new friend K knocked to see if the girlies could go out to play.  They have been playing with K and a couple of other girls out the front and they love being able to pop out and scoot around with their new buddies.

They couldn't play outside at our old house and I have the feeling I won't be seeing much of them during the school holidays.  We often work through the holidays but I may have to revise that now.

Two happy girlies = one happy mummy.
