So, what have we been doing?
Yesterday, the girlies decorated the Christmas tree and are very pleased with themselves. Regular visitors to the cottage may recall Graham and the girlies buying this humungous 7' tree a couple of years ago. It filled the whole of the bay window and blocked out all the light.
Anyhoo, it fits much better in our new house. The only drawback is that we have to open the french doors from the outside. Not that I am planning to open them as it is freezing.
As you can see we went with an *eclectic theme* using a range of decorations that we've collected over the years. There are a few of the girlies' creations dotted around as well.
*In other news*
It was the last Brownies and Guides of the year.
Miss Muffin had great fun carol singing at the local sheltered accommodation place. The old people were very appreciative and loved the tin of choccies she took to share round.
Her evening was rounded off by winning a prize for having the most points in her group. She's not entirely sure how she won as she only joined in September but she didn't turn it down.
Lottie Lou had a fab time at Guides and is looking forward to going back in the new year. She made chocolate truffles this evening and they were absolutely scrummy. Miss Muffin will be joining her at Guides in the new year so it's all good.
Think that's about it for today.
Hope that your day was grand.

Ooh, excuse the mess on the bookcase as I was trying to *hide* stuff and not doing a very good job of it.
